Why do directors put small, stupid things into movies? I’ve been noticing that the past couple months in the movies coming out. There have been great movies coming out these past few years. They have great messages and great plots. But there is just a few immoral things in the movies. Take The Prestige for example. I personally haven’t seen it, but I heard the plot is really good. I looked it up on Screen It, and it said Moderate Sex and Nudity. When I looked at the specifics, they were things that didn’t have anything to do with the movie. They were un-needed. They were things like a mural of a naked lady. The director didn’t need to put it in there, but he did anyway. So why did he? Well, I think that majority of America actually likes the sleaze in movies. I think the directors know that and so they put it in. Or maybe they think that’s what people like to see and so they put it in. I think that our society needs to change. If it can be left out, it should be left out. It’s ruining great movies by putting a couple things in the movie to make it horrible.
